Built different

Why shops pick Glacier automotive.

01

Nano-ceramic, not compromise

Glacier only manufactures ceramic. No carbon, no dyed, no metalized. One construction, done right — no calls to warranty out a roll that shifted purple or killed a customer's GPS.

02

Full VLT range

Stock 5%, 15%, 20%, 35%, 50%, 70% — every state, every install. Custom VLT runs available for franchise customers.

03

Signal-friendly

Non-metallic, non-conductive. No GPS, radar, satellite radio, or cellular interference — even on modern vehicles with antennas embedded in the glass.

04

Color-stable for life

Ceramic doesn't shift purple. The failure mode shops warranty out on cheap dyed film simply doesn't happen with Glacier rolls.

05

Lifetime warranty

Every Glacier-made automotive film is backed by a lifetime warranty registered to the install.

06

Plotter-compatible

Compatible with all major automotive pattern libraries used by tint shops nationwide.

FAQ

Common questions.

Does Glacier sell carbon or dyed automotive film?+
No. Glacier only manufactures nano-ceramic. Carbon is the second-best construction; dyed and metalized fail the modern vehicle — they fade or interfere with antennas. We picked the one without tradeoffs and made it well.
Why ceramic only?+
On a modern vehicle, that tradeoff shows up fast: metalized kills GPS and cellular through the glass, dyed shifts purple within a few summers, and both come back as a warranty call. Ceramic is the one construction that skips all three failure modes, so the install your customer drives off with still looks and performs right years later.
Does ceramic film interfere with car electronics?+
No. Glacier ceramic film is non-metallic and non-conductive, so it doesn't interfere with GPS, radar, satellite radio, cellular antennas, or active glass features.
Does Glacier sell pre-cut kits?+
No — this automotive roll ships uncut. It's plotter-compatible with all major pattern systems, so your shop cuts the panel-perfect kit for each vehicle in-house rather than buying a pre-made kit sized to one model.
