Nano-ceramic particles — measured in nanometers, not microns — deliver the highest heat rejection of any window film construction, up to 65% TSER (Total Solar Energy Rejected, the apples-to-apples heat spec vs. IRR-only numbers), without the signal interference of metalized films or the fade of dyed.

Does Glacier sell carbon or dyed window film?+
No. Glacier only manufactures nano-ceramic film. Carbon is OK but second-best. Dyed and metalized fail the modern vehicle — they fade or interfere with antennas. We didn't want our name on a roll a shop would have to come back and re-do.
Why ceramic only?+
Running one construction lets Glacier put manufacturing volume behind a single spec instead of splitting it across four compromise products. Ceramic is the only one that wins on heat rejection, signal-friendliness, and color stability at once — carbon, dyed, and metalized all trade one of those away. One line, no seconds catalog to manage.
Does Glacier window film interfere with car electronics?+
No. Glacier nano-ceramic film is non-metallic and non-conductive. It does not interfere with radar, GPS, satellite radio, cellular antennas, or active glass features.
What is VLT?+
Visible Light Transmission — the percentage of visible light the film lets through. Glacier stocks the full working range, 5% to 70%, so a shop can match VLT to the install without special-ordering a percentage. Always check the state's legal minimum before quoting a front-side or windshield job.
Does Glacier offer pre-cut window film kits?+
No — every Glacier window film construction ships as a roll, not a kit sized to one vehicle. That's deliberate: a roll works across whatever pattern library a shop already runs, instead of locking a shop into pre-cut panels for a fixed set of makes and models.
